⌠ New Changes, University, and Netizen Rant ⌡
Hello! So if you haven't noticed yet, I have changed my blog layout! Quite different from the previous one but I like this layout very much. It's hard to find good blog layouts these days (Surfed the internet for a good hour for them). What I'm also changing is my playlist that is normally being played...once I remember my password for it that is *facepalms*. I used that password recovery link and it said it would e-mail me the password in about ten minutes and so far, nothing. It's been about half an hour since I sent it. Moving on, most of the blog widgets are about the same for the most part. So nothing really in particular has changed in school. I have made two new friends and they are in my Intermediate Mandarin class. One is Japanese and the other is Black. I also feel like I've gotten distant with one of my friends in my class though, and I'll just name him TXWL =P. Anyways, I felt like I was finally being better friends with him but now it feels like we've distanced in which I'm sad about. He doesn't even sit with me now. The reason is because one of my new friends sits beside me in class now but that doesn't mean he can't sit on the other side of me right? Anyhow, my professor had revealed to us that every second week, we will have conversation labs with the Chinese International Students at my university which I think is a GREAT IDEA. Although, one of my first thoughts was to pick a hot Chinese guy...maybe it can work? =P Also, another thing is that my professor has also organized this program where we sign up to be partnered with someone that would be willing to teach mandarin in exchange for us teaching them English. Of course, I want to be paired with a hot Chinese guy like I said before but its okay if I can make friends with more Chinese people since I do not know many myself. Maybe I can meet someone by connections right? There is always an opportunity. Although I may not be the most gorgeous thing (as much as I want to be >_<), I hope to someday meet someone that I can love and be loved in return *sounds mushy*. As for other school activities, I had a Management Calculus quiz today which wasn't terrible. Quizzes are only worth 10% (Midterm is 30% and Final is 60%). It's a whole letter grade, so it would really help me get that extra mark to get a high grade since I'm aiming to get a B+ or an A in the course. I also finished a bunch of my readings for my courses although I will have new readings to do after tomorrow. I also learned something to take note of for when I schedule my courses next time, and that is to NEVER take a 3 hour night class. It really burns you out even though it is just a straight lecture. No matter how much you like it (if you do) you will get very tired! My Wednesdays are VERY VERY tiring right now because of the lack of energy I have. Talking about music now, I've recently been listening to Ken Hung (HK singer), Epik High (Their new album), and I am still in onto G Dragon's Heartbreaker album. Speaking of Heartbreaker, I recently read on Asianfanatics that GD may get nailed for plagiarizing by sony for I believe 4 of his songs. To be honest, I am kind of sick of hearing about G Dragon and other Korean bands about plagiarizing. Its everywhere these days and most people are getting tired of it. Another thing that I do not like is Netizens that are blowing everything up to make such a small issue into a much much larger issue that it is. For example, Andy Lau and his hidden marriage with Carol Chu. Of course I would be a little mad with the fact Andy did say he would tell all of his fans if he is getting married or not but he had his reasons for keeping it secret so one should not blame him or hate him like some Netizens have. One issue that has been quite big is the issue with 2PM's leader that recently left JYP Entertainment because of a small and very old myspace comment he made about Korea when he was a trainee. Although he said that all of his opinions from when he first came to Korea had changed to a positive aspect, he still had to leave. To think that Netizens have been able to push celebs or idols down the drain and almost ruining careers makes me feel sad. The past is the past, what matters is the present. Who they are right now matters not the person they were 5 or more years ago. One thing I will give Netizens credit for is the petition for DBSK to get what they deserve from SM Entertainment. DBSK has been believed to be underpaid and apparently treated very poorly despite that they are the biggest cash cows for SM, they could at least treat them a little better you know (little better meaning getting their well deserved pay)? What are YOUR opinions on Netizens today? Comment below! For those working hard in school or at work JIA YOU! Till next time, Blogging out! =] Labels: 2PM, DBSK, G Dragon, Heartbreaker, JYP Entertainment, Netizen, Plagiarize, Plagiarizing, SM Entertainment |
