Hey everyone! Like I said, at least one blog a month and it's been just about one month since I last update! T_T huhuhu. So Sorry. Life blew up on me pretty hard this month.

Chinese New Year

A.K.A. Lunar New Year for anyone else that celebrates this day but not the Chinese way haha. Anyways, so happy belated new year! For those who received lucky pocket (red pocket) I hope you got a lot! And I also wish for everyone to be healthy and be surrounded by people you love.



So for Chinese New Year, on that day, it wasn't anything too special besides the delicious food but around 3 or 4 days later, I went to a Chinese New Year Charity Dinner with a large group of friends where with each ticket purchased, 8 dollars was donated to the Haiti Charity. All for a good cause! So there was food, lucky draws, and some singing. Afterwards, we all headed out for some late night Bubble Tea to end the night.



Now Before the Chinese New Year, just before school ended for reading week, there was a Spring Festival Gala at my university that I participated in. It was basically a bunch of performances being presented for around 3 hours. What did I you wonder? haha It's kind of obvious with my personality haha. I sang with some of my mandarin classmates a song called Happy New Year (新年快乐) by 水木年华 and we received extra marks for it for our class =]




My Opinion of the performance was that we sounded pretty tone deaf haha Well, What's done is done and I hope nobody on campus recognizes me as "That girl who sang really bad up on stage". And By the way, I'm the girl on the far left in the video.

Now as most people know, Chinese New Year was also Valentines day, but we'll skip that since I don't have anything to talk about since I had no Valentine. =/ 很可怜哦。。。

Reading Week

Okay so Reading Week wasn't all that interesting =/ All I did was work, study, and had that Chinese New Year Dinner, and hung out with my International Student Friends. On the side, I spent like 136 dollars on Yesstyle clothing. Yippee! Except it's like 3 weeks late. = =

Exams

So right now exams is slowly coming to an end. I still have one more exam left to write on Monday and I just wrote one today(Saturday). Very sleepy right now actually since I only had 5 hours of sleep the last night because I was up late cramming and up early to cram some more things into my head. After my exam on Monday, I have 2 assignments due on the Friday so hell isn't over yet. Hopefully afterwards when school is back to it's normal pace, then maybe I can spend some time with my friends.

I hope everyone else's exams went well! And for those who are still studying, 加油！ Add Oil! But for now, I need to catch up on some missed sleep! Blogging out!
