Hey everyone! How are your summers going? This August has not exactly been the best for me. Mainly because of the stress from school. I wrote my 100% Commercial Law Final almost 2 weeks ago and I'm nervously waiting for those results to come back because I never want to retake the course ever again. This coming Saturday (21st) will be my 40% 3 hour French Final exam with NO dictionary. Can you believe that? I'm so sad that I can't use a dictionary because my french is terrible. I just hope I can pass this course. Then I'll have FREEDOM! FINALLY!

So after my two and a half weeks break of school, the fall semester will begin. Not much of a summer hey? Hopefully I can watch a bunch of dramas and go out with my friends to hang out and do some shopping before coming back to being a bookworm and studying till I get migraines again.



So what kind of activities have I done this month besides studying...hmm not as much as I did in July but at least there was a little bit of thrill in this month of basically hell haha.

First event, my awesome friend Mei's 20th birthday celebration. We actually had two parties. One small one with her boyfriend and a small group of us. We went to Kenko Sushi for dinner and then we went to baked expectations for dessert where we met up with another 4 or 5 of our friends. The second party was actually on the same day as Mine and a few of my friends Commercial Law final so it was somewhat of a celebration for finishing that class. This party was a lot bigger, there was about 20 of us celebrating together at the Tavern in downtown on the Patio on the roof. It was a great day to celebrate with everyone on a patio in nice temperatures ^^ After the Tavern, about 15 of us went over to my friends apartment to just drink, play cards, chat, and play video games. Great way to end a night full of fun after stressing and cramming for that exam.

So about a week later, my friend planned a sushi party so Mei and I decided to bake "Green-tea-chocolate-chip-cupcakes". Unfortunately, they just turned into Chocolate Chip Cupcakes with no icing. Maybe next time it'll be a bigger success haha. But anyways, not too much happened when I was there. Unfortunately I had to be four hours late for the sushi party because I was working. When I gave my friend Carene her birthday gift because her birthday was going to be the next day. I gave her a Piplup (from pokemon) plushie as a gift. When I got there, there wasn't much going on. Just a group of people chatting and a group of us watching Avatar on my friends big TV.

That's about it for this month I think unless I do go out somewhere before school starts. I'm hoping to be able to go to Grand Beach, to tan my barely tanned front. I think I'll also try to get some cover songs in as well and post it on my facebook (don't have the guts to show my face on youtube yet). I think 红豆 will be one cover song that I'll do for sure ^^

As I mentioned before, I'm going to do some shopping! I think the most expensive thing I bought this summer is a netbook that I bought online from kijiji. It's supposedly in perfect condition so I'm looking forward to using it. I got a good deal on it too, $130 with a external DVD drive and a leather case for the netbook ;)
