⌠ Reading week too much fun, not enough study. ⌡

Hey everyone! So this reading week has come to an end and unfortunately not a lot of studying has been done *fail*

Study Plan:

  • Saturday and Sunday mornings and late nights: Cram for Critical Thinking because I haven't started studying for it yet and the exam is on Monday (smooth Jane, smooth)
  • Monday Morning: Cram for Critical Thinking exam that's at 10:30
  • Monday afternoon till night: Cram for Accounting
  • Tuesday: Cram for Accounting
  • Wednesday: Skip Critical Thinking, spend half the day for Accounting and half for HR
  • Thursday (A.K.A. the end of my world): Half the morning for Financial, rest of the day Cram for HR at 2:30. And from 3:45-6:00 Cram for Financial and eat.
  • Then every other day I'll study for Management Science. I have a feeling that exam is going to be a little bit harder than the first one.
So during this reading week, what did I do?

From Friday till Monday I was working. Not much of a surprise there haha

Tuesday, came to school to study in the afternoon, then later in the evening went to Youlan's place for hot pot party and singing.

Wednesday, studied and then was cooking at Ucollege dorm with Amy and the gang and played badminton/basketball for like 45 minutes.

Thursday, went to school early to study, and then at around 1, bussed to Sarah's place to eat lunch and we headed to Idol for Karaoke. After Karaoke, about 7 or 8 of us bussed to Festival Du Voyageur in the freezing cold. It was a windchill of about -39 at night...

Fortunately, we all go rides home instead of freezing outside to wait for the bus :)

This Reading Week, I got to make quite a few friends, and got to get to know them better. Strangely enough most of them are guys...haha

Hopefully when summer rolls around and I'm not crazily studying for courses, I'll be able to hang out with everyone more and get to meet more people...and improve my Cantonese hahaha. I've been meeting more and more Cantonese people now and I still feel bad that I can barely speak it. >_<

Goals for the summer:
  1. Do well in my summer courses
  2. Improve Cantonese
  3. Start learning either Japanese or Korean
  4. Work out and get fit
  5. watch at least two dramas
  6. Meet new people
